Unbelievably, he asked if I wanted to be the project manager on the second generation car, the 996 GT3 MkII.” It was a moment of destiny, a culmination of years of aspiration. “I thought about it for a while,” he says with a grin, before admitting he didn’t feign indifference. “No, I said yes before he’d even finished his sentence. This was it. My dream made real.”
